Where to start...
The default design of Vault 1 is a three cell affair; the Main Vault chamber, the Reactor unit and the Access Tunnels. I am going to keep the existing main vault chamber more or less intact, while making it more secure by "dropping" it. I plan to add a second level "above" it that acts as a buffer zone between the current vault and the tunnels; this will start out as a duplicate of the vault, but will have very limited maneuvering room for potentially hostile visitors. This upper level will have its own smaller reactor chamber and will only have two ways in, one from the lower level and one from the tunnels.
The lower level will have several hidden exits on the surface for the residents to use as a means of escape, should the Terminators breach the upper level passage to them; these will be well concealed from Skynet's drones. It will also contain an expanded Armory compared to the normal Vault 1 as well as an expanded lab; there will likely be several deactivated Endoskeletons in the lab under study.
The default personnel for Vault 1 will be supplemented by a small group of Resistance fighters stationed on the upper level; all persons will be decked out in Resistance gear.

Fallout 3 and the Terminator
So, what exactly is Cybernetic Dawn, you may ask. A fair question, to be sure, and one that I will be happy to answer. It's a game modification (hereafter called a mod) for Bethesda Softworks Fallout 3 that adds content from the Terminator franchise to the Fallout 3 setting. While the mod itself is not something I personally created, it is something that I am using while playing FO3, and I am creating a mod that requires it to be usable. I am modifying the RR Companions Vault (hereafter called Vault 1) to act as a base from which the Resistance can battle the Terminators in the Capitol Wastelands. This blog will be where I talk about things I plan to change about Vault 1 and changes I may make to the Terminator Cybernetic Dawn mod via other plugins.
